At present FlexWiki is not fully enabled for international support. The biggest limitation is that non-Roman characters can be used in the text, but not in WikiLinks.
One issue for all WikiWikiWebs in the international arena is that some languages do not have upper- and lower-case letters or use them as we can in English to create PascalCase words for WikiTopics. Some wikis, like this one, includes a special syntax for marking a single word as a WikiLink, something that is called a FreeLink. FreeLinks are especially useful in Latin-based languages for linking abbreviations like DSI. However, because international characters cannot be used in WikiLinks, FreeLinks alone don't solve the problem. -- StuartCelarier, 18 August 2004
