It checks (for example):

• You have a valid FederationConfigurationFile
• All of your WikiBases are where you say they are and have reasonable configuration information
• Your WikiBases are set up so that the file system permissions are correct
• Your newsletter SMTP delivery server is configured
• etc.

To access the script, you run the file config.aspx on your server. This is accessible either by going to the administration home (http://yourserver/admin/default.aspx) and following the link to the ''Configuration

Checker'' OR by going directly to it at http://yourserver/admin/config.aspx.

It would be cool if there was some advice here what to do if the configuration checker doesn't work, either. I, for example, get an HTTP 500.
