For several years I have had a wiki at http://www.chat11.com Recently I have been working a lot more on building it and exploring building hierarchies of knowledge, blogging interesting ideas and editorials, and enjoying modifying the software that runs the system. I have added a lot of extensions to support things that I am interested in, like linking to relevant Amazon books, embedding Amazon pictures on my pages, etc. I also contribute over at Wikipedia, and also at other wikis. I am also interested in MedicinalPlants.

Truly Open Directory, an alternative to DMOZ

I have also created a new wiki directory of the internet at http://www.TrulyOpenDirectory.com. This wiki was started with the contents of a recent version of DMOZ Open Directory Project database. I encourage anyone to find the right page and add their own site to the directory. This wiki, with 500,000 pages of links, could be one of the world's largest wikis. I am hoping that the collaborative oversite inherent in the concept of Wiki will help the http://www.TrulyOpenDirectory.com site to be the internet's next generation directory. I believe it gets around many of the challenges and bottlenecks inherent in the current DMOZ Open Directory Project, and Wiki offers webmasters an alternative to DMOZ. I will be further enhancing the software operating that wiki, so I encourage your suggestions about how to improve it.

I have also recently released http://www.siql.com, which shows some of my latest internet research technology. I am able to produce content rich Expert Guides To The Internet. These can provide webmasters with a jump start on making a links directory relevant to their website's topics.
