a CoreDeveloper will reply to your mail and work with you on reviewing and validating your checkin -- and get it checked in
After you've done this a couple of times, you'll be interested in BecomingACoreDeveloper.
These are people who want to make changes to FlexWiki and check them back in, but haven't yet "earned" CoreDeveloper status
