Add support for a simple image library associated with each namespace. Provide an easy Upload button.
Alternate Description
Allow users to upload files (with versioning) to be referenced later by file name within the wiki (wiki://picture.jpg) -- LewisMoten
Partial workaround
I added an image folder in the namespace folder (e.g., C:/<vdir>/WikiBases/MyWiki/images), and then use a full URL to reference it (e.g., http://<domainname>/<vdiralias>/WikiBases/MyWiki/images/<filename>.jpg). An implementation of this feature request should allow for a short, relative syntax, such as images/<filename>.jpg.
I agree that an integrated "upload image" feature would be very nice. I'd like to see some mechanism to find all references to an image in the image library. -- StuartCelarier, 1 June 2004
Would it make any sense to try to leverage nGallery ? -- MikeSchinkel [7/3/2004]
a WikiFeatureRequest means new functionality is desired.

FlexWiki makes it easy to display pictures and other images by either using a URL to an image file, but there's no obvious place to put them. It would be great to have each ContentBase have a well-established place for uploaded images -- with an easy upload button.
