Context. FlexWiki has logic that guesses when a WikiTopic is an English plural, e.g., WikiTopics, and automatically redirect that to the singular, e.g., WikiTopic.
First define PluralFormSamples, and then define PluralFormSample. Hovering the mouse over PluralFormSample shows that topic's Summary in the tooltip. However, hovering the mouse over PluralFormSamples shows "Different versions of the topic exist. Click to pick one." in the tooltip. Moreover, everytime the user click on the plural form, a special context menu pops up to select between the singular and plural versions.
This is regrettable behavior in FlexWiki, since it slows down the user navigation through links in the Wiki.
Solution. Always define a WikiTopic in the singular form first. If you are having trouble working the singular form conveniently in to the prose you are writing, try either of these forms:
Either way, it is simple - after the singluar form of the topic has been created - to re-edit these.
Limitations. FlexWiki assumes that English is the lingua franca of wikis. FlexWiki doesn't know all rules and exceptions for forming plurals in English - perhaps we could all wiki in Esperanto? C'mon, I was just kidding!
