One of the scary things that this might lead to is lots of different versions of these pages. For example, how many copies of the FlexWiki topic do we want in the world? How about FeatureRequests? The ability to share these topics across a bunch of wikis is what led me to implement WikiFederation. Now if we could just LinkedFederations going we'd really be cookin' with heat!
Maybe I wasn't clear. The "Developing Software" stuff is for your own software project. It's just a blank template for whatever project you work on. So for me I could have one for DasBlog etc and at least have a good starting poing for collaboraring on software development for my project with others -- OmarShahine
That makes more sense, for the "Developing Software" examples above. I still have my concern about the common Wiki topics in the "Base Templates" list. -- DavidOrnstein

FlexWiki is being used successfully as a collaboration tool for developing FlexWiki!!! However, it's also being used as a collaboration tool for DasBlog, .Text, and FireWork. In addition many individuals are setting up their own personal Wikis sitting side by side with their blogs. Should FlexWiki provide some boilerplate templates so that you can have a relatively consistent starting point to collaborate?
