FlexWiki keeps a thread spinning on the web server that wakes up every now and then (minutes) and checks to see if any of the WikiNewsletters need to be checked for changes. If any of them do, this thread will check to see if the topics in the newsletter have changed and if any of them have, an updated copy of the newsletter will be delivered to subscribers.

Monitoring

A monitoring tool is available to see what's going on with the newsletter daemon thread. To view this tool, use the newsletter.aspx file on your server. On this server, you can find it at http://www.flexwiki.com/admin/newsletter.aspx
